My main sport is motocross and i compete competitivly every weekend and i ride for Rocket Centre. I used to have a motobike trials for in the winter however i have now bought a cycle trials bike and am really enjoying it so i thought it sign up to this forum . The current bike i am using is : Frame: Onza Limey 2 (newer model with extra gusseting and supports) 7005 Heat Treated Aluminium finished in dark metallic blue with silver fleck. Forks: Onza Smart Guy Stem: Onza Headset: Tensile (Titanium/Ceramic Bearings) Bars: Viz Maxbar with Kona Grips F.Brake: Magura Louise Hydraulic Disc with 180mm Rotor R.Brake: Magura HS33 Hydraulic Rim Crank: Echo with Wellgo Platform Pedals F.Hub: Onza 6 Bolt Disc R.Hub: Hope Pro II Trials - 6 Bolt Disc Compatible Rims: Onza 32h, Drilled Front Tyres: Maxxis High Roller Super tacky (26x2.5" rear - 26x2.35" Front) I don't know how good this is i bought from a friend just after last new year please leave me feedback how i can improve. I'm not the greatest at trials but im getting the hang of pedal hopping and certain basic skills If anyone if from lancashire way and know some good trials locations please let me know so i can check them out. I think my next bike will be more of a 24inch street bike or something as i have kindaof a fast pace BMX style. Lock_N_Load
suppose you could try and get a 2nd disc on the back, or get some good brake pads with a grind for good brakes. and I don't know about you but I never really liked the Onza Smart Guy forks. Yeah my back rim has been grinded in order to give better braking and the brake seems fine. I know what you mean about the forks but i think they will do for me at the level i ride at this moment.
