Sponge
Saw these on Facebook a little while ago, some of you might have seen it already too but for those who haven't, it's a pretty interesting idea! Last I heard from Acroland shop in Italy, the unofficial stated price so far is 55 Euros. 100% made in Italy! Ali C
not sure if I like it... It will still mark walls when it and I am yet to see any mayjor damage to frame/cranks/bb from hitting the bash. Still, it's nice that people are trying new stuff, I personally would like to see a rubber (well, soft) outer edge so it doesn't make any noise or leave any marks and I am sure it could be done both lighter and simpler too. A dampening on the outside of a bashring would be really decent, as you dont damage anything, so then police have no reason at all to move you on . To be fair, with how hard you gapped to bash on Sunday I don't think it'd ever be possible to make a bash with a large enough shock absorber to stop you making marks around the place

Jon Alty
Could still hit with the frame though. Very true, people often use their bashrings purposefully on objects to help them up and what not, hitting the frame only really occurs by accident and not that often, also doesnt do the same damage as your frame tends to slide off the object, where as a bash, as it implies, bashes into the object and can really fk it up . Ali C
don't think I get the point of your comment about hitting the frame? you can hit your cranks, pedals, bars, stem etc if you do stuff badly wrong, the whole point is that you try not to hit them, bash included but it just so happens that the bash is usually the first thing to hit when you mess up a move, so that would benefit the most from being non-marking. Aye I know but was just saying the bash is'nt the only thing that can do damage.

Ali C
if you are using a bashring to hook, you are definitely doing it wrong!

eskimo
Pretty cool idea of reducing damage/ shock. Though i couldn't ever see myself riding one. Probably too expensive and i can't even be bothered with removing my sprocket to fit a bash. Which case, i'm currently bashless.
