Revelation
Anyone tried these tires in the rear? http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_tyres/tryall_slick_26_inch/c33p10513.html at 1,000 grams it won't make a good front tire, but still a bit too light to be a good rear tire either.. so what is this thing designed for anyway? I'm considering getting one, but I do need some reviews on this thing.
Lock_N_Load
They are made with no grip so then the tyre can role faster, so it's really made for speed not grip, but then I don't see why swap grip for speed on a trials bike. Ali C
I am sure they are lighter than that, from memory they are around 550-600g but it would be worth checking with Tarty Bikes before you buy

They are made with no KNOBS, not grip. They grip fine because they're made of soft rubber and are meant for riders who do more urban and/or people who typically ride only in the dry. Just because it's a slick doesn't mean it can't grip well, look at most BMX tires, they're slick. Look at drag racing tires, they're slick too.
