dann2707
BRAKE boosters primary job is to stop the frame from flexing. Preventing you from hitting yourpipe is just a nice added bonus. If your frame isn't actually flexing have you considered tie wrapping it down to your frame instead of spendinglike £60 on a boosterBRAKE boosters primary job is to stop the frame from flexing. Jon Alty
The best thing to do for this obviously is to get a hose splitter, this eliminates the crossover pipe so u cant kick it. Also they are meant to give a better brake feel, however when i had mine i didnt feel the difference. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/rim_brake_spares/monty_hose_splitter/c5p2099.html Hope this helped.
Matt Burrows
Hose splitters are more hassle then they are worth. A brake booster is definitely a good idea, it'll improve the brake performance as well. I'd go for Trialtech 4 bolt if you can afford it, if not try to pick up a second hand Heatsink booster as they work great.

robintrial
braided cross over? it is cheaper than a brake booster. but i had the same problem+ flexing frame so i bought a try-all 2-bolt booster and i didn't kick the pipe of since then make sure the booster fit on your frame. hope this helps Robin
Matt Burrows
There is a good booster for sale in the thread here. The silver Echo Urban booster, very stiff and a bargain for £10. Plus Ben is a decent guy and a respected member of the forum so you can trust him.
