Pedal Washers

ItsNotSimple

Recommended Posts

hey guys, i just got a new pair of trial tech cranks and trial tech platform pedals, should i have a washer to put between the pedals and cranks to spread the force? I ask this because my mate had the same pedals and didnt use a washer and they came lose and destroyed his cranks?

any help would be great.

You should always check parts are tight regularly especially when they are new. It was your friends fault, not the pedals.

You don't need washers.

Ive only ever used them because of the axle sticking through the other side of the crank, was rubbing on my frame.
