hi

i am new to this here trials malarky, and to be honest i am probably to old to start now, but hey ho!

Can any of you guys give me any guildence on wheel size, i did a while ago have a bash with a saracen flea , but it kept braking!, i have about 500 quid to spend on a used bike, please help!!!

Well "20" inch is usually better to to start out on but not always the case is you come from a motorcycle background of mtb because your more used to it with balance etc.

On another note, what background do you have with riding? And how tall/ big are you? A lot of people will bang on about 20"s being better, they can be but to be honest there's very little between them. If you've ridden mtb beforehand, a stock could be better (26" wheels) as it'll feel more like an actual bike, or if you just want something to play on and branch out into trials there's always the option of a 24" (feels a lot like a proper bike, my 609 does for sure) Best bet would be to keep an eye on the rides section, turn up to a local one and ask to have a go on a few people's bikes - you'll get a feel for what you'd feel best on :)

i am 5,9 and 12.5 stone, i had a go on a friend of a friends zoo which had 20" wheels and it felt comfortable,but i hear what your saying about the mtb thing
