t-comp-kierz
I have a few questions about halo reach, when playing on live can you create a class like in cod? I have heard of people building stuff? Is this possible if so how? I will probably have a few other questions soon
Leistonbmx
Pretty sure you pick guns up b
Krisboats
You can adjust your armour, which is kind of pointless and you can play in different gametypes. Aside from changing the gametype you're limited to the same weapons/upgrades as everyone else on the specific map and you'll have to pick the good guns up from wherever they spawn. You can build things in the level editor, called Forge. It's pretty easy and you can access it from the main menu above the theatre option. eskimo
Just got Reach too. Pretty blown away, Bungie didn't disappoint with another one, again. You do have the option when respawning to choose what sort of soldier you want to be. You have jet pack, sprint, shield etc. Also some of the weapons are different depending on if you're Spartan or Elite and i guess what game type. Has anyone seen my shoe?
In short, no you can't create classes, you have a couple of choices of preset 'classes' for you. As for creating maps, Forge is what you want. If anyone wants to party up sometime let me know, I pretty much only play the MLG gametype though. eskimo
Callum you were right about it being like Halo 2. I recognised a few maps, but the weapons have moved. Is there a ranking system? I haven't really played anything other than Deathmatch.
Has anyone seen my shoe?
Aye there's a rank system, you go up by name rather then numbers. So lowest rank is recruit I think then you work your way up through sergeant, warrant officer, captain, commander and loads of ranks in between. I'm warrant officer grade 3 at the moment I think, but not far off hitting captain and getting another achievement I think there are 3 or 4 maps all directly moved from halo 2, just as you said with different weapon spawns. So you mean the useless COD rank system!? Why on earth did they do that. A plain number upto 50 with highs and lows worked perfect.
Has anyone seen my shoe?
Its not useless, it links you to players of similar ranks. Plus if you start to do arena matches (like doubles etc) you get different rankings in top of your normal rank, with a few good games you get into the bronze division and it goes all the way up to oynx. eskimo
But it still means noobs can play for 20 days and still getting to the highest rank, somehow. Which makes no sense. Or does it drop rank if you're a failure?

Has anyone seen my shoe?
Its a big ol' experience jump to get up the levels, you will still get people who just played a lot rather then are actually good but it will take a lot to get to the highest level. Leistonbmx
MLG gameplay? How can anyone even watch that hahahaha.
Has anyone seen my shoe?
In fairness, MLG for Halo is actually good. Its so bad for CoD but it formed on the back of Halo and works will with it for that reason.
Kieran Morrison
I've heard all these things about jetpacks being in halo reach online. Anybody know how to use them? Cheers.
Has anyone seen my shoe?
You have to pick the class with the jet pack on then its X for people like me on bumper jumper, I think on standard it might be Right Bumper
