dirt jumper jake
Hey there just wondered if anyone could help me...just built a wheel and one in every four spokes is horrendously loose, that is to say the trailing spokes on the non-driveside flange. The lead spokes on that side have no problem getting tension in them, but the trailing protrude past the rim surface by about 10mm I realise ive done something pretty wrong here but a bit stumped as to what! how many cross? are the left hand and right hand flange spokes the same length or different? and who did you order the spokes off? i had this problem when i built my mod front wheel and got the spokes from tartys and theyd sent me ones that were too long... What components duderino? Realised I left a different number of spokes between the cross on each side....in stead of the usual 9 ( which I had on the drive ) I left 6 on the non-drive haha...Sorryfor the waste of time! :$
