Took it to the local bike shop and got a new lever piston and a fresh oil bleed, sorted amazing brake, I also have the same brake set up apart from the booster. Sam T
I have the exact same problem! 2011 Magura Hs33, tnn pads, tensile 2 bolt booster and standard magura clamps. I set them up to the rim but the lever comes all the way into the handle bars? When i first set it up the lever comes in a little bit and doesnt rub. After a ride today it feels as if the cylinders have moved? They were all tight when i had finished setting them up?

sstein
sounds like air in the system.
Kieran Morrison
Was probably a bad bleed, so the pistons wouldnt have reacted until the lever reached a certain part.
Sam Styles
i had this very same problem! look at your bleed bolt on your slave... then squeeze your brake. on mine, the bolt was done as tight as possible, but water was still trickleing out? so i put a little copper washer on it.. and its been perfect ever since. just a thought. bikeperson45
I always seem to have the same problem, yet I can see the pads move as soon as I move the lever, even without the pads in. If you find a solution let me know

If you find a solution let me know will do , will re-bleed it tomorrow and see. if that doesn't work i don't know what wrong ,, unless the pistons are buggered! davey1991
just gave it a fresh bleed and all is now good cheers for all your help matt It happens wuite alot to those who don't often bleed brakes, I had the same issue as you although i was far more adamant that it wasn't the bleed . Dan6061
I've done this before. Although it turned out that the bolt I was using as a bleed bolt was slightly too long, so it was sealing up properly! So I filed it down a bit, put a small washer on there, and it was spot on!
