Blake
Heya, considering getting new tyres for my t-pro as my bike came with tyres that are a little bit too worn down and I fear they wont hold too much grip for very long. Considering an upgrade so what is everyones favourite and why? Cheers.
CalopS
I'm running Try-all stickys front and back at the moment because they grip well and have good mud shedding properties. Ive used a Monty on the rear as well. Great in the summer but clogs up if its muddy.
dann2707
On the rear I like creepy crawlers, very good grip on wet, can run very low psi and not get punctures. Plus they last for ages! On the front I'm running a kenda small block 8 2.1". Its oriteeee I guess, in the wet though its terrible, no grip at all and I don't feel safe with it. On dry though you can run super low pressures and its great. When I mean low pressures I mean I can actually push right through from the outside to the drilled bit on my rim. I would get it for its cheapness and durability but I'm deffo gonna get aa creepy cvrawler on front after as its less of a BMXy tyre that I feel the kenda small block 8 is. dirt jumper jake
Small block eight on front and stiky on rear, ive tried dual crawlers, dual stikys and one of each with the block eight, and stiky and block eight was my favourite as like what dan said, you can run uber low pressure on the small block eight, and i just love stikys anyway Edited December 26, 2010 by dirt jumper jake
Azarathal
I love my small block front, low preasures and yet it still bounces amazingly despite the silly thin sidewall.
Dan6061
Monty Eagle Claw for the rear! I find mine to have way more grip than my Maxxis did, even when my old Monty was bald it still held well!
MontySamba
I used to run a creepy crawler on the rear and found that it wore better than the eagle claw tyre, but I would go with the Monty eagle claw all the way. The try-all wears down far too quickly, especially when you ride on concrete and tarmac. The eagle claw is the perfect compromise. For the front definately Kenda small block - the middle sized one - 1.95".
ItsNotSimple
Try all Stickys and maxis creepy crawlers are the two main front runners, but it all depends what you prefer, and your price range
Dušan
maxxis creepy crawlers on both wheels, evne thoug they are nearly slicked they still have good grip... and they are rideable in wet weather

Or is it sprayed?

Robert Stropshire I think his name is, it's sprayed black with red/orange stars on it. . . . .and they tyres are monty with white lines by the sidewall, anyone know what they are? gu trials
kenda small block on the front and try all sticky light rear both amazing and loads of grip, or go for a cheaper option and get dual creepy crawlers
Kenny--Trials
Creepy crawlers or sticky lites are the best on the rear. Every one says the stickys are amazing but ive never rode one. As for creepy crawlers, they are amazing. I went from a bald creepy crawler to a new echo and i could really tell the difference. The echos are shit. Do NOT get them, everyone will tell you that. As for the front i have rode creepy crawlers, monty and the kenda and i do like the kenda the best.
