JohnyMilton
Hello, looking to try a new set of pedals, I hate V8's as they are to small and hurt the centre of my foot, but I currently use them as they are the only pedal that is completly flat, and doesn't have a ridge\hump in the centre of the pedal(where the axle is). I used to use the Kona Jacksh*t pedals, which are also the Inspired pedals, but they were not that grippy, but wide, and comfie. And I'm know looking for a pedal thats wide, removable pins, no ridge and has a reasonable slim profile. Also just curious to see what other riders use. Anyone help? Lock_N_Load
Echo TR Platform 2011 I was looking at pedals to buy before I seen your post and I went back to the pedals and I then seen they match your preferences pretty well, I will hopefully be buying them when I get the money, so I am basically recommending them to you. hope this helps. JohnyMilton
Echo TR Platform 2011 I was looking at pedals to buy before I seen your post and I went back to the pedals and I then seen they match your preferences pretty well, I will hopefully be buying them when I get the money, so I am basically recommending them to you. hope this helps. I have looked at them but they are not completly fat, they have a ridge/hump that doesn't allow your foot to sit flat on the pedal.
monty221ti
the hump is machined down so it's flat:)

crashbanggg
A lot of people seem to rave about these for MTB'ing. I've never used them but they look pretty wide, flat etc http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=42&products_id=
Mark W
My TRs feel like they hold my shoe better than any other pedal I've tried. Tried V8s, MG1s and a few others too - TRs win hands down.
ginger allen echo
I have the echo mg1's had them for at least 3 years now and are still going strong. they are the comfiest pedals I've had as well this is the equivalent to them - hognesiums
eskimo
You want a pedal that isn't concaved? Maybe the pain comes because the DMRs are too flat? I wouldn't dismiss bmx pedals either, there are some half decent ones about.
Sam Styles
look at odyssey trailmix pedals they are bmx pedals and they do not have a hump in the middle. grippy pedals, and the bearings last forever. i have a set on my bmx. also, nukeproof pedals! they are the grippiest pedals i have ever been on! other than that, id go for echo tr platform. SamKidney
What about DMR V12's ? Same as the V8 just a bigger platform, no hump, very grippy and long lasting My choice of pedal. I changed to them when I got fed up of the Pain my V8's gave me
MontySamba
Definately the Echo TR Platform 2011. I have just put a pair of these on my bike and they are 10 times better than the DMR V8 that i hd before. Wider, more grippy and just better quality.
