Rockman Posted December 23, 2010 Report Share Posted December 23, 2010 Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem I tension my chain perfectly, tighten the axle bolts up, then after maybe 1-10mins the snail cam just slips, then the chain goes extremely slack and the wheel touches the brake pad I cant figure out how to sort it the hub is a Because which comes with snail cams Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SamKidney Posted December 23, 2010 Report Share Posted December 23, 2010 Pretty sure the snail cams are smooth? Eg, no serated notches. Id take the snail cams off the hub, and using a thin file or hacksaw, put small grooves into it all the way around the curved section of the snail cam. The notches should stop the snail cam slipping.
