AJ9604
So i've just ordered a set of inspired fourplay forks to go on my fourplay frame (not the 2011 version), will i need to cut these down to fit?, I am using a hope headset and hope stem 90mm 10degree rise ( http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_stems/hope_cnc_2010/c41p11183.html ). if so how much will be best as i do not want to cut to much off and that i can also use the inspired top cap to run my front cable trough? Any help would be great, Cheers AJ
Mark W
You'll need to trim them a bit if you run no spacers. If you want a mega low front end, you can always put a spacer on top of your stem if you need to, so you don't have to cut as far down? AJ9604
So I fitted my forks using 4 and a half cm of stackers under the stem, this ment I did not have to cut them down, is this an excessive ammount of spacers, it feels really nice to ride to me, I will post a picture later some time, AJ
Skoze
It is quite a lot, but if it feels good just run it
Mark W
I run 35mm of spacers on mine, feels pretty good That's with a 70x25 stem and some High Rise bars on there.
