monty221ti
hi there, is the new try-all tyres the money worth? i am running monty eagle claw's now but they wear down quickly, so i want to try some other tyres. for the most i ride on pallets and concrete block, but also street and natural. so chould i go for the try-all tyres or something else, i have tried creepy crawlers but dont like them. oh and its mod tyres. liam n
im not sure about the try all light but the try all stickys (not light) are amazing ,really grippy and they're good in the mud this is me on wet pallettes , look at the hold at 0:46 ..... the try all sticky lights have the same tread pattern the only difference is the try all lights use kevlar beading and i think they're thinner
monty221ti
anyone knows how they grip to edges when you sidehop and that sort of things? i think i am going for them but how fast do they wear down?
MiuSliS
Try-all tyres are really gripy because of soft compound, but that makes them wear quite fast. Edit: in general (correct if i'm wrong) list goes like this. From softest -> hardest. Try-all -> eagle claw -> creepy crawler Edited December 21, 2010 by MiuSliS

Mark W
Try-All and Maxxis tyres use virtually the same compound. If I was in the market for a new 19" tyre then it'd be either a Monty (that I'd then take a Stanley knife too and reduce some of the tread pattern a bit) or a Stiky Lite. My Eagle Claw was one of the best tyres I've ever used, and the Stiky Lites seem to be really nice too. If you can stretch to them, then do it. If not, get a Monty! Mark W
For a grippy tyre, 6 months isn't really that bad...

l33th3tr33
Try All will not last as long as Monty. I think we all (except for one) figured this out. If cash is short, why buy a new tyre? Get a second hand one?
