thorn2403
hi guys, i'm having a bit of trouble lifting the rear wheel whilst moving, such as when going obstacles or bunnyhopping. I've gotten the hang of lifting the wheel using endo's and controlling it whilst in the air. But my problem lies getting it in the air at the same time as the front wheel. Hoping someone on here could give me some pointers Thanks

You need to put all your weight back. just lean as far as you can backwords and pull on the bars.
onza rip 29
hi guys, i'm having a bit of trouble lifting the rear wheel whilst moving, such as when going obstacles or bunnyhopping. I've gotten the hang of lifting the wheel using endo's and controlling it whilst in the air. But my problem lies getting it in the air at the same time as the front wheel. Hoping someone on here could give me some pointers Thanks I found when i started i could not get the rhythm with the brake and pedaling but with practice and like you say with the endo to start you can try to pedal from there to push off the ground and get lift and when you get the hang of the brakes you will find obstacles very easy and trials gets better from there
davey1991
Hi , it does feel quite aqward to start with but its a great skill once you get use to it. You need to put all your weight back. just lean as far as you can backwords and pull on the bars. That would help with lifting the front of the bike but not the rear. The first post was the way i tend to do it, toes down and into the pedals. Throwing the front wheel down hard onto an obstacle also gives the rear wheel momentum.
