Mark W
Updated! New Forxx, new Tech Trial front brake with black caliper and pimpin' purple bleed bolt, new splitter with purple bolts again, Neon foam grips... er... think that's about it? Well, for me at any rate. I've been soooort of wanting a 'proper' trials bike for a little while now, especially now winter's set in, so because of how ridiculously cheap the Purple Sky bikes are now I couldn't really resist. Thanks to Trialtech as ever for making awesome parts too.
Luke Rainbird
You absolute c*nt; that's lovely dude! Massive props Under half price for customers too, didn't realise they were that heavily discounted! Impressive stuff - dread to think what you got it for
Mark W
My Mum just called me out and asked when I was putting a basket on it, but hey ho Under half price for customers too, didn't realise they were that heavily discounted! Impressive stuff - dread to think what you got it for Yeah, we've sold a couple since they went down to that price, but every person who bought one had to be reassured they weren't totally broken or something like that, and we've had a few e-mails asking about them too. There's even a question in the 'Q&A' bit on the product page about it. Just got an awesome deal from K-124 on those bikes, which means they're mega cheap. All good
Miles Mallinson
oh this is the big suprise you were talking about on the What are you getting for christmas thread thats is pretty special and a crazy paint job
CalopS
Looks great Mark. Im not a fan of all the stars but the colours cool. Why did you get a 26" and not a 20" like you had before?
Mark W
Baaaaaaasically, I used to just ride 20" because I had sort of powerful style on it. All I did was TGSy power move stuff, and it was alright but I wanted to try and learn to ride properly. I've been doing some more 'proper' trials on my 24 and I'm sort of used to how bigger wheels handle now, so I want to try and get things learnt properly on a 26" bike. I know that if I'd gone 20" again I'd have basically just ridden in the same way and not really tried to make myself do things correctly, or improving my technique to do things better. 1a2bcio8
I've been thinking the same about the convenience of a 'real' trials bike for the winter. My 24 doesn't really suit the current climate. I probably won't be able to afford anything unforuantely though. But, I have to say, that bike looks like it was designed for a five year old girl. Maybe the wrapping for her christmas present or perhaps for the appearance of her school stationary or diary. Sorry Mark. No offence intended! Mark W
Haha, nah, it's the campest of all the Sky range I'm not sure how long it'll be staying like this for in all honesty...
Luke Rainbird
Long enough for you to decide you hate it and donate it to a good home? I really like the graphics, even if they are more suited to a Barbie bike!
Mark W
Indeed, pretty much the exact phrase she used too And I know why I didn't really get on with my last foray into the murky world of 26" bikes, so hopefully this time it'll work out better... crispyboy
Yeah im sure it rides very well but the colours and graphics nitromorse it or give it some Matt blackness Other than that it looks nice,Im running that stem and bar combo on my 26" and it is so comfortable
alex-trials-boy
I want 5 such nice bikes if only the orange sky was this cheap
Ben John - Hynes
My vote would be to leave it as it is, it's different. Any other colour you could wang on it would be the same as something that's already been done. Looks amazing!
Laurence--Trials
Well im not sure about the colours to be honest First person i've seen to have owned one actually. It looks like it has ether really long forks or a weird head angle.. probably just me. Surprised Ali C doesn't have one. I mean he's always on about this perfect 30BB rise on a stock? I laughed at the 'yellow sky' :$ EDIT: Video soon? cheers EDIT2: Why actually does it have such a big discount? Alex Dark
That has to have the longest reach of any frame? My Coustellier is absolutely huge at 680mm, and thats 10mm longer! Can't imagine how stretched out that must be. I actually quite like the look of it, if i had the money id 100% buy one of these though.... I mean you're getting a try-all bike kit with a frame for practically nothing! bargain
dirt jumper jake
I dont usually like Koxx's but thats lush. perfect geo aswell
Ross McArthur
Its been said before...What a fanny! You are the reason people want to work for Tarty! The photos do it justice - nice work. I think the 24" brakeless is your style though.
Mark W
Yeah, I'd agree with that fully - this is just a sort of 'alternative' bike for when it's wet out or if I want to go hit up some mega tech rocks. Alex - because it's got that shorter than usual stem on, it feels really nice. Not stretched out and lying down like a lot of stocks, just feels manageable. Once Ali's finished faffing around with his back brake and we can actually go ride I'll get to properly try it out though

Rusevelt
That would look so sweet if you lose those stars decals without ruining the paint finish.
