JD™
I have an old frame I could practice on first aswell You need to strip the frame (Nitromorse) You need to spray it with primer You need to spray it with colour You need to spray it with lacquer You might want to try searching - it's a proper long process to type out in detail and it's been done many times as I'm sure you can imagine. Luke Dunstan
I did a rush job. Sanded it down.PrimerprimerPaintPaintLacquerLacquer Let it dry in between layers, and use VERY fine sandpaper and rub it down in between layers. When I say I rushed mine, I didn't follow the advice I just gave and it turned out okay, but could have been MUCH better. All supplies can be picked up from halfords, and they usually have some offers on. Edited December 17, 2010 by xDUNSTANx

Luke Dunstan
What do I do with the headtube and bottomw bracket holes? Should I cover them or what. I left an old BB in the frame, best not to get paint in the threads. And the head tube I didn't bother with.
LukasMcNeal
Make sure to cover any brake mount holes as well. Make sure to always do fine coats as well, with more of them. This stops runs
