superjay
ok im having trouble with my brake (rear) sometimes when im gapping and mess up the back brake locks ups like the little piston bit in the lever wont come back out. if i give the bike a good shunt back its all frees up again and works fine. any idea what it could be what to do? its only started to happen since i fitter heatsink yellows on there like there stinking maybe? but i dont use tar or a grind and my old pads never did this :/ i would send them to tartybikes or to my local shop but i wont get it back before the 2 rides i want to go on. any help would be great
Revolver
Sounds like the seal in there is drying out. For a temporary fix put some oil in there from the outside. To fix it better take the lever off the brake and poke the piston out from the bleed hole and lube it up in there nicely. This shouldn't happen if you're on an oil bleed though. I always fixed it by replacing the lever lol.
Luke Dunstan
My one did the same thing when I was following the above members bleed guide The lever was old and tatty so I just bought a new one.

wip-bikes
Just give it a good clean up mate, take your wheel out and press the brake all the way to the bar. This way you can get all the way down the slave pistons Hope this helps. It worked for me
