monkeyseemonkeydo
what do you mean with "cut some thin caliper spacer washers in half to try and take account for any misalignment"? If you cut some of the thin washers in half to make thin versions of this: Depending where you put them relative to the caliper and the fork/frame mount you can make the caliper sit at a slight angle to the mount. monkeyseemonkeydo
so i should use that one instead of a normal shim? or use it so i can see how many i should put on/remove? Depends how your caliper sits relative to the rotor. As well as, instead of, whatever but you would leave it in to add a bit of 'rotation' to the assembly. monkeyseemonkeydo
can you please explain that one more time? I think you should go to a shop and get the mount faced .

monkeyseemonkeydo
yes, put do i still have to use shims then? You'd still have to use shims but only whole ones.
