Ben Swales
Vincent has sent us these pictures of the new Sky frames for 2011. We'll have a proper article up, hopefully today, with full details and more pictures, but I thought you might like to see these!

kristaps
Yes ! Mod frame looks brilliant ! And now we can see, what mounting system will be for hope trial 2011. In my opinion, this is big step up from Koxx !
p_ruskin
Love the look of both of them, and the bash on the mod is a brilliant idea, takes the extra welds of the bottom tube so they should last longer too.
Franksx2005
How much?
wes
Tubes - Alu 7005 Double Butted Headset Semi-integrated total Wheelbase 1090mm BB Height - + 70mm Length base 380mm Back track 116mm public RRP € 799 Edited December 15, 2010 by wes
Sponge
That's pretty cool on the mod. I wonder why not just do away with the bashplate altogether like they did on the White Sky? Though I can see a few Chinese brands borrowing this bash idea in the near future!
AdamR28
Pretty sure DOB did that bash design a while ago. The frames in the UK will be £699 I think. I reckon they'll be more popular as complete bikes given the 116mm hub on the 26" and post mount brake on the 20", but we'll be getting some separate frames in to inspect anyway Oh and the mod is 1000, +90, 350. Typo? I thought everyone decided that was essentially pointless. and holy high bb!
AdamR28
No typo - hence the reason I think they will be more popular as complete bikes...
Alex Dark
No typo - hence the reason I think they will be more popular as complete bikes... Why in hell did they decide to do this?!
Mark W
Could be 'cos it's cheaper making 2 times of hub instead of 4? As in 116mm disc/116mm non-disc without having to do 135mm versions too? Saves a bit of weight as well I suppose. /\ That doesn't mean I actually agree with it though
Luke Rainbird
Bit of a shame, but it'll be cool to see post mount coming in to play a little more...
Matt Vandart
I like the mod.
kristaps
Sorry about offtopic, but... Are they planning go to cosmos with that height of BB?
Laurence--Trials
Not keen on that mod looks wise. Would like to know more about it though. Bashplate is a good idea, although i think it would be better bashlateless. Headtube prefer the old one for looks, why have they gone back to the standard one? I thought the triangle cut made it stronger? Geo sounds pretty nice especially with that high BB, and i serpose this will improve 'ros ferther. Postmount = new try-all / hope mono trial brake? Would prefer the standard to be honest, why they go to postmount? what are the advantages of it? Lack of graphix (spelling?) to save weight i'd guess? Sorry if my spelling is bad, using standard internet at school (no built in spell checker like in chrome) My opinions btw
