trials4life1
right so all these new frames have around a 80mm rise for the bb and i was wondering how this would change the feel and how the bike handles. MoDs btw. cheers.
Captain Scarlet
Some people absolutely swear by it and will say that a 5mm change will make a massive difference. But for me it is the other measurements in the geo. Me personally I find that short and high BB is the way to go, feels nice on the rear wheel and very flicky, where a short with less of a BB rise feels more two wheel and a bit harder to keep on the rear wheel. I've still found that the biggest difference isn't your frame, but your bar and stem set-up, this can make your bike ride like crap or an absolute beast. Look into those combinations before whacking about loads of money on a new frame.
