fatwomble
Order just placed for an Onza Hitman Mastering the art of trials DVD arrived in the post today. Christmas holiday period is coming up, hopefully by the new year I will be able to do some of the basic stuff (or I will be in plaster or hospital) I also hope to get my son interested, tried with Mountain Biking but he didn't enjoy it, hopefully he will find this more fun. Wish me luck

madmanic
i have only be riding a couple of months and before i started i spent ages watching videos teaching you how to ride but they didnt seem to help as the main part is balance and no videos can teach you balance
isitafox
Good to here you've picked a bike, is it a brand new one?
Jon Alty
Where abouts in Hampshire are you from mate? Was about to ask the same . Congrats on the new bike man, and goodluck with your own riding aswell as your sons (he should enjoy it ). One thing you (and your son) need to know, is that trials can take a long time to get to grips with, and takes alot of practise. Just go out there and have fun basicly, dont take it too seriously is my advise . Edited December 13, 2010 by Jon Alty
Laurence--Trials
Out of interest how old is your son? Was thinking if he doesn't know it takes a long time then he might get bored of the sport and quit.
fatwomble
In answer to the various questions Yes, it's a new bike I live in Durley (next to Bishops Waltham) My Son is 13 (nearly 14) I was expecting it to be a bit of a slow process, especially as I am very late to start learning (I realise 42 is positively ancient). I hope my son will stick with it, but I think the PS3 may keep him from practicing Looking forward to the weekend
