madmanic
my brakes used to squeek but have stopped squeeking now. but they still hold just as good and thats all that matters to me
eskimo
If you take your booster off they will probably start honking. But if your pads are brand new, not ridden in yet or are at angle then they probably aren't going to honk until they've bedded in flat. I wouldn't worry as others have/will say. liam n
make sure the pads are perfectly square, this stops the wheel from just dragging through the brake pads. and because they're metal backing they only work well if they're square to the wheel because it spreads the pressurethroughout the pad also when they're set up square it stops the pad from bedding in at an angle making it harder to set up again after bleeding or getting a new bike etc. hope this helps liam

PeanuckleJive
Mine squealed like a dying pig when they were set up good and properly bedded in with a decent grind, I'd say one of these is missing

Phatmike
Be thankful they don't make a noise, it's just wasted energy anyways.
