Snapped Hub Axle Removal?

Right, so I tried the search bar numerous times and then realised its sh*t and doesn't give you what your looking for.

So I have 2 sealed Hubs both with snapped axles (driveside) and i need to remove them, how would I go about this? I have replacement axles but obviously i cant fit them until i can get the old ones out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Got a new bit of wood and it dropped out after a while hammering, now i have it back in but say the bearings are x wide and the cup in the hub shell is x+3mm to accommodate the bearings and the thickness of the endcap i can only get the bearings right to the edge of the hubshell so the endcap sticks out, any solutions?

pics will help us massively with this problem, sometimes you have to tap the bearings in a little further on there own i normally use a spanner or socket the exact size of the bearing and hit it in

Thought I'd give your idea a try and if it didn't work get up some pics for you, but thankfully it did work, just needed something the get the bearings all the way into the back of the hubshell, Cheers.
