Topsy
Stupid question, but how many mililiters do you need to fill your brake? Will probably order for xmas!
Mark W
Usually around 25ml or so in an uncut HS33 rear brake.
murph82
It's good to see someone designing something new and innovative. I just found the monty brake oil... has anyone tried that? What else is there to use, is cooking oil usable? Sorry for the questions, I have two bikes and annoyingly both are unrdeable Thanks James I'm using monty oil now as didn't want my brake to freeze up like last year and its maybe half way between water and standard mag fluid. I'd certainly be interested in this phat fluid if its like water.
sstein
Got Phatphluid the other day and fitted some new Phatpads at the same time as well. The feeling off the brake with the phluid in is immense, best feeling maggie I have used to date. For some reason the pads are not as powerful as I remember when I first got a set and I have almost no noise despite the being set up perfectly, perhaps they just need some bedding in. P.S. I should clarify, I am not saying the pads are underpowerful, they are fine, I just remember ore power on my last set.

The new slanted edges reduce vibrations, therefore reducing noise they will need to bed in for them to be as good as they are meant to be. sstein
Better than water? To be honest I have never been a fan of water bleeds, cause the feel really changes depending on the temperature. As I said though it has the best feel of any brake I have used.
