Lynas13
Hi all. Was wondering if the pro carbon protector is worth buying. Also what size would fit my onza pro (silver one)? Thanks Jack
Jamie_Trials
Defiantly worth buying, even the video doesn't show what it can really withhold. You'll be needing a small one for the onza pro.
Sam T
What's the difference between say something like drain pipe and one of these?
Jamie_Trials
Ermmm, it's lighter, stronger, made to fit, looks the part but costs more
dann2707
What's the difference between say something like drain pipe and one of these? A drainpipe guides the water down from the roof of a house to the gutter at the bottom. The Pro Carbon Protector protects the downtube of your trials bicycle. I'll try and rephrase it : What's the difference between cutting a drain pipe in half, heating it up and molding it to the bottom of your frame? Does the pro carbon have some sort of added strength? Haha lol, I'd go for the Carbon Protector, Looks like a good bit of kit, Surely it has to be better than denting & scratching your frame, When I was at the NEC Motorcycle show the other week, Pro-Carbon had some of there products there & I went to have a chat with them, Seemed like really good quality products. Dwarf Shortage
-LOLS- I'll try and rephrase it : What's the difference between cutting a drain pipe in half, heating it up and molding it to the bottom of your frame? Does the pro carbon have some sort of added strength? It's stronger, lighter, and looks a lot better, else we'd all be heating drainpipes to stick to the bottom of our frames. Also it's not gonna be stuck to your frame forever, and you can use it again. And it's barely expensive at £25.
