You mentioned that somethings wrong with the frame, but I can't seem to find where you've said what that is... Could you spill the beans? Looks real nice to me, was it a ballache to get the integrated pivotal mount?

EDIT: I'm having one built, hence the questions :)

i mentioned something wrong about another frame, in this thred , which i previously linked here, but took it out because he offered to build another frame when i mentioned the head angle.

about the trials frame i don't have any complaints, but there were some annoying things about the fork:

-the surface on which the headset ring rests was crooked, so i had to shave it at a mill in order to make it perpendicular to the steerer tube

-one of the dropouts (or whatever they're called at a fork) was lower then the other so i had to dig into it in order to make the wheel stay at a 90deg angle

- the dropouts are 3mm or so wider then they should be which makes it a bit annoying when fitting the wheel.

(but even if it has those thick arms, it only weights about 1050g, which is cool)

me too :ermm: he keeps saying that he doesn't have the mount, but he is doing me a cromo frame so is uppose that could influence it a bit

i've learnt that the less fancy stuff you ask for the smoother the build process will go ^_^

my pivotal mount was taken from an old bmx frame he had lying around. i'm not sure how easy it would be for him to make one from scratch...

Ah yea, I remember that thread now. So he made your forks as well then? In that case I don't mind too much, he's only making my frame and I'm banging on about the head angle being extremely important in my geo so hopefully he'll get it right!

Good to hear he's sorted you out though (Y)
