gary-mac Posted December 5, 2010 Report Share Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) Right due to snow this wkend didn't go ahead so maybe try this weeknd coming if anyone is interested. sat or sunday which ever suits best for most people. Its 2hours from glasgow- inverness- stirling etc. Its in a little village called kinlochleven 7miles up the loch from glencoe. Is there a railway station in Kinlochleven and if not where is the nearest stop, if there not one in kinlochleven im gonna need to get a lift with someone heading up that way. I would rather come up for a couple of days and get a room somewhere for a night. Rab couldnt even dig his car out, as the snow had turned to ice and is so deep down here. We went down to Port Seton but the snow is right down to high tide level and the tide was in. Every body else seems to be in hibernation now. Really do hate this weather, if it does get better in the new year we'll def get a wkend ride sorted as 2days would be really good crack and to be honest you'll need the 2days to get round the mound. Let me know when ever it suits you and afew boys and we can take it from there, will see if weathers ok and try get afew down this wkend for a mess about. Looking really good for tomorrow, if it stays the way it is the rocks should be nice and dry, ground might be slightly damp underfoot but who cares about that. Will be a really good day and nice to see afew new faces. I have a small problem though, my new echo tr brakes haven't turned up and the front Hs33 has snapped.
