Miles Mallinson
I've done a few videos now and they have been alright (I think) but the angles are just not right, I don't have anyone to film me most of the time, so i have to set up a tripod and it doesn't really look that good. I just wanted some tips for self filming because i can't drag my parents out each time i want to go riding. Heres my Channel youtube
Mark W
http://vimeo.com/4924896 <- That's pretty much all self filmed, but it goes to show that some 'setting the scene' sort of shots can really help give people more of an idea of what's going on in the actual clips just from them having seen spots from another angle. Dan6061
I'd say keep the camera steady - Wobbly shots are so irritating! Don't have it all fixed to a tripod though, look at Danny Mac's April '09. When he's riding along the spikey rail, it's filmed as if you're stood there watching for real, makes it seem more real? Don't do slo-mo, or black and white.
