Sam Vickers
Hi, I am wondering what surface my front heatsink yellows would be best on. It is a v brake and I am currently running them on a smooth rim. When I do front to backs, it sometimes holds but sometimes doesn't, also, it is terrible in the wet or if it gets dirt on it. I just don't know if a grind would be any better than a smooth, however, if a grind is better it could wear my pad down a lot quicker and I would like my pads to last quite a long period of time. Thanks Sam.
isitafox
Probably gonna be best with a light grind on the front. Don't want anything too heavy or you'll be faceplanting a lot when you forget about how strong the front brake is! And I wouldn't worry about the pads wearing down too quickly, should still last quite a while!
Jamie_Trials
Get a light grind like the other guy said, won't wear your pads too fast but it should hold in the wet too Saying that, I always though your brake was decent Have a validation vote too
dann2707
Hey Sam. I'd say a really really light grind would be perfect for heatsink yellows. Anything too harsh and your pads will just demolish within a few rides Gave you a validation vote too.
