Mark W
So, I've sort of settled into my new frame now. Tweaked a few bits (as shown in the photos - most tech spoke tensioner ever made (courtesy of Ads), cut down seat-tube and cut-in-half seat clamp to get it as low as possible, clip-on fibreglass footjam plate (courtesy of Ads )), got used to the geo and just been doing a little bit of riding whilst filming for Ali's video which is coming out later in the week. The recent snow and onset of winter have meant I'm not going to be able to do much more filming for a while as we're limited to weekends, so I thought I'd just spaz all these clips out now then film for a new video for spring or something. Because of that, the riding's not great and virtually every clip is a 180, but hey ho, that's the way it goes. Thanks to Ali for filming and being patient with me, even though recently the 3 strikes rule has meant I've been getting shit done faster
CalopS
Nice little edit Mark! shame about the snow cutting filming short Love the second to last clip! Bike looks great. The tensioner is well tucked away. Ali's video which is coming out later in the week wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
dann2707
Not keen on the fibreglass jam plate but oh well if it's clip on. Shame about the paint chipping off so soon aswell !
Daniel Gray
Nicely done, should learn bars aha.
p_ruskin
Nice video, love the song, one of my mates used it in his Hideout Bmx edit and it just flows so well with that kind of riding. Me like.
Leistonbmx
Looks very bikeguide ish I like it though haha. Not ride your bmx anymore?
monkeyseemonkeydo
Disappointed at the lack of wedge bodge clampless seat fixing! More details on the tensioner as well please! Looks like half a Trialtech tensioner at first glance... Love the all black, clean stealth look- that's full of win!
Zoo!Man
Nice video Mark! But I don't understand the use of that footjam plate (maybe because I'm Spanish and it doesn't come in my dictionary lol), is it for not to hurt you when putting your foot there? Sorry, it may be a really silly question
John Shrewsbury
Nice little video mark, i can see now where uve raised the height of the bb on the dropouts.
bikeperson45
Awesome wee video, would rather see lots of 180s than lots of normals ones. Wish I could get an Inspired, and wish that black was a production colour Edited December 4, 2010 by bikeperson45
Ben H!
Looks Awesome Mark, Liking the stealth colour scheme!
Mark W
Not keen on the fibreglass jam plate but oh well if it's clip on. Shame about the paint chipping off so soon aswell ! It was the first time we'd tried something like that. Hand-made by Adam. Carbon fibre version next! This was just a test to see if it'd clip on, and to see if it'd be strong enough. This one's held up so the carbon one should be pimpin' Nicely done, should learn bars aha. That's the plan (A) Looks very bikeguide ish I like it though haha. Not ride your bmx anymore? Not really, no. Disappointed at the lack of wedge bodge clampless seat fixing! More details on the tensioner as well please! Looks like half a Trialtech tensioner at first glance... Love the all black, clean stealth look- that's full of win! Yeah, well - because I was thinking of learning other tricks I wanted to keep the adjustability in case I needed it higher. I think it might stay that height so I might bond it in again. The tensioner's the arm and first jockey wheel of a Trialtech tensioner, then a spoke that goes around up, and over the chain to tension it down. The way it's made, my chain can't actually touch my stays at all which is total win Nice video Mark! But I don't understand the use of that footjam plate (maybe because I'm Spanish and it doesn't come in my dictionary lol), is it for not to hurt you when putting your foot there? Sorry, it may be a really silly question Massive gap = painful foot! Put a plate there and it's all good
aener
Damnit Mark! You make brakeless look so fun! It's far more frustrating than your videos convey, from what I've tried of it Also - kinda weird that today was the first time I've ever been to Wolverhampton, and this is the first video with Wolverhampton in that I've seen in ages. Heh. Snowwy as shit, but seems a very under-rated place. Supersweet riding. Seems very much the "I'm gonna have fun today", rather than (unfortunately) my mindset of "I'm gonna get grumpy if I can't do something I could do last time, and only actually be happy if I do something better." Ali did more than I did there, haha. Some good spots though. There was a BMX jam there ages ago and I went to that, so that trip we took there was a guess-your-way-round thing from that. Potential for definite! Same with places like Coventry too... And yeah, riding is fun but I still get raging at stuff too. Just ask Ali about me forgetting how to sidehop at a spot in London Had so much I wanted to do, and in Porthcawl too, but for 2 days straight I basically rode like a turd. Not cool... Thanks all the same though

davey1991
The more i watch people ride inspireds like this, you and Ali in particular the more i want one, no disrespect to Danny Mac but you and Ali always seem more relaxed, maybe its the brakelessness? You look so comfortable and they just seem amazing to ride, why am i so poor!
Tony Harrison
I dig. Jam plate is cool too, looks unintrusive and neat - carbon fibre one will be belter.

Mark W
Carve harder and faster, tuck your back end higher and longer. That's pretty much it. If you aren't getting the rotation but you're landing two wheels together, you need to spin faster. If you're getting the rotation but you keep doing a pivot, you need to tuck your back end more.
