Thanks in advance you may want to start off with "what is trials?" and then use a lot of pictures, and then maybe a 9 min video of you "trialsing", then it's all good

Dwarf Shortage
Honestly, if you don't know where to start, and you don't know how to present it to an audience with no grasp of trials, you might be better off doing it on something else. If you're still dead set; Ideas: - Simple definition of trials for an introductory slide, e.g. "Using a bike to get over obstacles", but better than that, just to give the audience something to go on for the time being. - Disciplines of riding; TGS, Natural, Street, etc. clips of each, throw some Danny Mac in for good measure, maybe some Damon W, and I'd have Iolo riding some natty, because his style is awesome. - Some clips of you, maybe a "timeline" of your progression throughout riding. dann2707
I did a presentation for AS in sixth form, pretty much what everythings been said, not much more to add. Although just thinking, you could say where trials is going; perhaps being in the olympics, which type of trials is going to be outdated first, street riding, tgs, natural etc. You can do so much with this. Luke Dunstan
Surprised only one person mentioned the history of it. If you start with the history and how it evolved, people will understand it better.

I'd personally avoid using footage of yourself, it would just look a bit to "look at me look at me" if that makes sense, not overly professional! To expand on the first point i'd take it back to why trials started, that mototrials riders wanted something to play with so ot pi's dad made the bikes etc. Sure you can google for info but the episode of keeny belaeys big trial adventure program covers that and its on vimeo. In fact, rob that blind as that programme was created to show people who know nothing about trials what its about, as is your presentaion. Maybe email giles wolfe at M.A.D. He was around long before I started 10 years or more ago so has seen the whole thing grow, might even be able to provide stats on sales and growth to back up the sport is growing. Back then, if it wasn't megamo or monty a trials bike was just a small rigid mountain bike with a couple of modifications. Talk about how its now an equal cycling discipline with world cup rounds etc. Explain why you like trials and what the draw is. Hope that helps?!?
