Right, recently moved house and have a nice area where I can build a little section.

Just wondering if any of you have any pointers.

In my last house I had a pallet pile, not too stimulating looking for something a bit more inspirational.

Just want ideas of layouts/obstacles etc.

A fat concrete pipe would be good if you can get one.

Lol, the best thing you can get for your garden trials set up is pallets and railway sleepers.

I have thought about a 205l (10 gallon) oil drum full of soil, would be a similar size, would it be suitable? also could it be more damaging to the bike

Could be a bit slippery.

2-3 massive tyres could work too, you should be able to get worn ones for free since their disposal costs a lot.

Cut the top off the oil drum, fill with soil and lay turf on top, could be pretty tasty.

Pallet piles, pallets setup up to hook like this: /\ , oil drums, forklift tyres and railway sleepers are mostly what ive ridden in peoples gardens, if your pretty imaginative you could have a real sweet setup, take a look at crispyboy's garden on here for general ideas

That would be cool, you could do two of them and tranny from one to the other.

They'd fit better in the car in halves too, come to think of it I have a water butt kicking around and one of them base thingies too

Just try and get a massive boulder from somewhere, i'm doing that in a couple of days in my garden, better for just practing cos they have got more angles to ride that just a cube of pallets.
