Maladie
Hey there, I recently ordered a Primo mix wheel from Winstanleysbmx. Unfortunately for me, they're not gonna' have the wheel in stock until at least the end of December. So, because of this the shop has told me I can choose a different wheel instead of the Mix. So, i came here to ask what are some other decent, and pretty loud, rear bmx wheels?, bearing in mind i only want to spend £160 at max really. Cheers, James. eskimo
Bmx City formally Cyclesport does one off deals farely recently. I saw a V3 Hazard on a Hazard at like £100 or something ridiculous. So you could wait? Proper rears are cheap and chearfull. Reasonably light and strong but the spokes and build are naff. The Primo is an excellent hub so if you could get one of them on a decent rim on sale like a Sun/Alex or something with decent spokes you're onto a winner. A V3 Hazard wheel is also a very sensible choice. Great rim and the hub now uses a needle bearing for the 9t. Or a Gsport wheel with 3/8th axle. Dunno on the price for them though. PeanuckleJive
get any old BMX hub, and mount a loudspeaker next to it.
Jolfa
If you run over a drinks can just right, it will get stuck on your tyre and against your frame and sound just like a motorbike!!!
Dan6061
Primo mix. Basically a better version of Profile BMX hubs. My mate ran one on his BMX, and it was stupidly loud! - Ran it dry, with stretched springs etc...

Okay mate, cheers I will keep those two options in mind. But what about a different wheel from Winstanleys site? Because that's what i was trying to get at in my first post, sorry if it didn't make sense

Revolver
If you run over a drinks can just right, it will get stuck on your tyre and against your frame and sound just like a motorbike!!! Screw that, flatten the can and ram it down the back of your tyre. Much less unpredictable.

Leistonbmx
primo mix> db spokes> hazard lite. Best bet for that sort of price. Although I think hazards are still 70?

Leistonbmx
Not even gonna watch it. But imm guessing if it's a joytech clone he's pinching the c-clip, and if it has individualy sprung pawls he's bending them. Probably sais somewhere in there to not use grease/lube too... Azarathal
Hazard V2? I know it's old but I made myself a new c-clip out of a proper stiff keyring + ran it dry.

Mark W
Better hubs are available for less. That's not important though - what is important is the shock I experienced today when, as I looked at someone standing next to a sweet silver full susser in the middle of Blackpool this morning I suddenly realised it was you...
