TykeTrial
TykeTrial Club invites everyone to join them at their Christmas Special Trial at the Harden Moor venue above Keighley/Bingley in West Yorkshire. An end of season fun event with two laps of 5 sections, followed by a hot buffet lunch at the Guide Inn, followed by as much riding as you want. Special Christmas awards for the top 3 in each class and a prize for the best decorated Christmas bike and rider! Everyone is welcome, open to non-members and those just wanting to have a go at competitions - but as food has to be ordered and paid for in advance you will need to let them know by filling in the on-line entry form and payment from the Events page of the biketrial website. £10 per rider (to include food) and £5 per person not riding for food. Give a trials comp a go in a fun, relaxed setting! www.biketrialuk.co.uk Edited December 9, 2010 by TykeTrial

Ben Swales
Info here too. Don't forget you can print the form off and enter by post as well. Harden is a cool venue Will, should be interesting in the snow!

AndyZoo
Is it ok that people that don't want to take part can just ride on the rocks but not take part in the competition or sections so its just like a days ride without paying anything or taking part. So ... let me get this right ... everyone else pays for the venue, the toilets, the insurance etc etc ... you just come and ride for free? Not really in the spirit of Christmas is it ? Come and join in properly, you'll enjoy it much more.
eskimo
Why isit when something is on, it's on a Saturday and i'm at work. Yet since i have Saturday off, it's on a Sunday now. Don't think i can hack a 3.5 hour drive, ride and have work the next day. Unless i worked in an office of course

Ben Swales
The deadline for entries is this Wednesday as we need to have our food order in on Thursday, so please all get your entries in asap! There will be a trial with two laps of five sections, followed by a hot buffet at the Guide Inn, presentation of prizes, including a special prize, supplied by Phat Works, for the best Christmas decorated bike, and the club's Annual General Meeting. We would like as many club members as possible to attend the meeting - it's your chance to have your say in how the club is run, where and when competitions are held, etc. - so please do come along. The weather forecats looks good for the weekend - it's supposed to warm up between now and then (up to a scorching high of seven degrees!) and there's no snow forecast, so we should be OK! *crosses fingers* I'm not sure why you'd want to come and ride but not enter - might as well ride the comp if you're there? You'd have more fun I'm sure, and would get to push yourself a bit more and compete against other riders, plus you get a hot buffet and the chance to win some cool prizes to boot! And as Barbara said, it wouldn't really be fair to turn up and use the venue/facilities we've provided/etc. when everyone who is taking part has paid for the privilege. Don't forget - get your entries of ASAP
CalopS
Don't forget - get your entries of ASAP Done! It says on the entry form the car park is a "trials parking field". Is it just a field? field + snow + cars = deep car swallowing sludge especially if its warming up and the snow starts to melt.

TykeTrial
Done! It says on the entry form the car park is a "trials parking field". Is it just a field? field + snow + cars = deep car swallowing sludge especially if its warming up and the snow starts to melt. It is a field, but don't worry, there's about half a mile of layby alongside the road if the field looks bad, loads of room for parking. All it is is that the pub don't want all of us trying to park in their small car park. Just checked the weather forecast ... sunshine Thursday, rain Friday, warmer Saturday ... so hopefully the snow should go before Sunday.
