Fish-Finger-er
to most people saying theyve got 2 foot and stuff(not so much to the guy with the pic of the road, thats clearly a drift and may well be that high), is everyone else using the TGS tape measure to measure snowfall? hannah that looks like 3-4 inches,i may be wrong like. are people aware that 2 foot of snow means you could stand a mod up in it straight and not see the wheels? Hannah Shucksmith
hannah that looks like 3-4 inches,i may be wrong like. Aye, it's an awful lot deeper in some places than others. I measured 8 inches on the stairs near the patio when I posted this morning and took pictures in other areas after. The road is completely inaccessible now, we've been out pushing cars down the lane thanks to ice. It's all fun and games.
shamus
1/2cm in plym, stupid sumo tyres meant i binned my crosser on ice and snapped my clutch lever on way to work. now its all melted i feel very silly

isitafox
Can't be doing with much more of this. Just had another son 3 weeks ago and the snow has made it impossible for my missus to go out anywhere and all the toddler groups are shut which means homelife is not happy at the moment. And to top it off I'm doing even less at work than normal, if thats possible. Been here since 2 and not had one single train/shunt/run round and its doing my nut in, only another 3 days of boredom till I get a few days off. And not even got any bike DIY to do while I'm here! Max Quinn
Good two inches in Bournemouth! Bit of a rarity innit, everyones going mental! Last year it seemed to snow EVERYWHERE but here. Some lads were on the roof of Lidl opposite our house lobbing snowballs down so we just collected loads of snowballs in a bucket and got a vantage point on them from our highest window haha. Me and a mate managed to get stuck on a hill in her little corsa last night and had to wait 2 hours for the RAC though
crashbanggg
We've had a couple of inches so went sledging at this dam wall near us. This is a couple of Vids from it, listen out for the crunch on the first video God knows how he didn't break his legs...

isitafox
I've spent the last 4 days trudging through 2' deep snow to clear up points and signals, nothing worse than when they get frozen up and won't work. Could be worse though, could have been doing it on nights!
Max Quinn
haha was that you and helen? cant belive you f**kers have snow and its bearly cold here Yer was savagely long and cold haha. Although at least we had certain 'supplies' to keep us goign. An it's all gone now, the rain pissed it away on friday night so now it's just savagely cold instead. JD™
How's it looking in London boys and girls? Specifically along the south side of the river? I wanna go riding there tomorrow but no point if it's snowing
