crashbanggg
Im looking to get a new bottom bracket for Christmas. Looking at Tarty they all seem to be similar prices/ very reasonable. Is there much difference between the Onza one at £12 or is it worth splashing out on the neon Carbon one for a MASSIVE £22? I.e. will it last for considerably longer? Cheers Chris
Greetings
Doubt it. Most of these bb's are just re-branded chinese/taiwan mass produced components. The carbon fibre in a Neon bb will definitely not improve the axle strength which is the weakest link in a square taper.
liam n
Im looking to get a new bottom bracket for Christmas i've had an onza for a year and i am now investing in an issis which willl be better
ogre
best square taper bb going, would probably have the resale value too... really you should go to isis though, cheapest way is these or these if you have a bash plate and this scandalously cheap ISIS bb... Matt Burrows
Definitely get a Shimano, but don't buy the one in the link above as its for a road bike! Get this one with a 127mm axle
