Luke Dunstan
Right, I'm looking for more US TV series to watch, as I'm up to date with Dexter, Breaking Bad, True Blood and The Walking Dead (graphic zombie series and well scripted). I tried the first episode of The Wire, didn't like. And tried a few episodes of Oz which I didn't really get into. Any suggestions? 1a2bcio8
The Wire can be slow paced. If you stick with it though you'll probably find it rewarding. You just need to learn the characters. Broadwalk Empire, like The Wire is another HBO series that started this year. I think it's excellent and a bit easier to get into as well. If you never watched Battlestar Galactica (adult sci-fi) or Six Feet Under (very dark and funny humour) I highly recommend those. Six feet Under and True Blood have the same producer/writer, Alan Ball who was also involved with American Beauty. I think it's actually better than True Blood which I also really enjoy. Again, these may be shows you need to watch a few of until you really get into it although I liked them from the start. Burn Notice is also quite good fun. Cool to hear somebody else watches Breaking Bad. Awesome show that hasn't done very well in UK unfortunately.

Thanks for that, I've seen the odd clip of Six Feet Under so i'll have a proper look in to that. Breaking Bad is incredible, Have to wait until July to see season 4 though. I was a fan of Bryan Cranston ever since the first series of Malcolm In The Middle, you could tell from then he was an incredible actor. House. Is House the show with Hugh Laurie, Aka Lieutenant George?

Tomm
Is House the show with Hugh Laurie, Aka Lieutenant George? Yes Arrested Development is fantastic. More of a comedy than the ones you've posted though. What about 24, Prison Break etc?

Kieran Morrison
Just out of interest, why American tv series and not british aswell? Although american tv series are awesome haha, two and a half men? think that show wont be making any more episodes because of Charlie Sheen and his drug habit recked the show. But the old ones were good
