Ben Swales
Just a few random pics from back in the day! Ranging from about 10-17 years ago, and not all trials related. Amazing Dave - some quality pictures in there! I remember bashing about on bikes like that just riding whatever anyone was doing that day - dirt jumps, XC, trials - it was mega! Brought a smile to my face!

Phatmike
Awesome pics. Looks like a right old laugh - loving the dirt jump with the 4 dig-outs either side! Brings back so many sweet memories of exactly the same scenarios, thanks for sharing.

MadManMike
I can only ditto previous comments - I had so many rides like this. Jumping random stuff, going wherever. No measures of how high, how light... Just ride where you want, how you want. If only the scene was still like that!
cant_ride
This is amazing!! I found a load of old photos the other day, must've been 1994 at the latest back when I rode my 18" Marin frame for trials! I bet some of the younger members won't actually believe the equipment that we had to put up with before proper trials parts came on the market. It's good for them to see how lucky they are to be getting into trials now! Oli
superlight
sadly those jumps didn't last very long, some little scrote flattened them and a few years later a tesco was built there!
PaRtZ
love it! Not seen a set of old school pics like that in ages!
Tony Harrison
I learned a few things when I still had a water bottle on the frame. They were the best.
Ben John - Hynes
You just don't see enough trials bikes with mudguards anymore!!! I wish I was riding at that sort of time, looked like bloody good fun! Cheers for the share-age.
isitafox
Oh yes, a crud catcher was essential trials kit back in the day! Wish I still had my rockhopper just to play on, was a great bike to ride but snapped it when I landed with one wheel either side of the landing ramp on the small dirt jump pictured. What made it worse was the fact we'd only just got there and it was the first jump I did! Still got the dodgy black freespirit frame (with the powerbar bottle) and the red frame in my dads garage, and the crud catchers on my dads bike!! superlight
crud catcher haha, almost as pointless as those dcd things, i was guilty of rocking one of those years ago though!
that NBR dude
crud catcher haha, almost as pointless as those dcd things, i was guilty of rocking one of those years ago though! Ahh DCDs and Crud catchers... those were the days. I remember painting my DCD in the union jack, so I looked as cool as the Martins!!
