Phatmike
Hey guys, I just received a short edit from a ride in London couple of weeks ago. It was just me riding on my own, but bumped into a pretty cool parkour team and a video crew. They got a few shots and clearly had some fun editing it. No massive riding, but a bit of fun. Check it out: http://store.phatworks.co.uk/index.php/blog/single_post/michael_singleton_rides_london/
Ben John - Hynes
Haha, really good little video. Love the way it was different to "normal" trials videos, made it easier to watch. Beast riding too, man. Loved the rail-rail-bus stop-pillar line!!
CalopS
That was great Mike. Love your riding style!
1a2bcio8
Looking good Mike. I think your style has changed slightly? Liking it anyhow. You should get down to Bristol/Swindon soon so I can get some film of you with my new camera. Init!
Kieran Morrison
Was very good riding, good job! Didn't really like the edit though, like when you were doing something it would zoom in and sometimes you couldnt actualy see what you did. Anyway, the riding was good, thats all that matters! Kieran.

Ross McArthur
There was too much close ups of your face for my liking. The rail gap to front was good! What was the song? Anyone know? It's the mixed bit at the start when your pillar gapping im interested in.

JDâ„¢
Really appreciated that Mike. That bus stop line took me by surprise, was a really great line! Looking forward to seeing the whole Phat group vid as mentioned on the page
Phatmike
Thanks for the comments guys. The bus line was one of those ones where there was no thought process involved whatsoever. I was riding that spot for about half an hour before the parkour guys rocked up, then I saw them do the rail line up to the bus shelter and instinctively followed! Only spotted the drop gap to the bollard once I was up there, haha. I'm glad there's split opinions on the editing style! We're a long way off making a video that's gonna please everybody. I like the closeups, and we'll be experimenting with those more in future vids - get some cool closeups of tyres squidging, brake pads gripping & riders gurning! jacecottrials
Look forward to seeing any video from you, i like the sound of the close-ups on the breaks gripping!!
Krisboats
Meh, it was alright. I've got a toy in the pipeline that'll make shots like those much nicer to watch so we'll have to beast that up once i'm moved into the new place this weekend. Dan Clark
Editing was the most irritating thing I've ever seen, looked like it was done by a 13 year old who'd just discovered the filter section for the first time. Same with the angles really, just seemed like how I imagine a young teenager would make a trials film when given an assignment to make a "wicked cool extreme sport film". Loads of wacky angles and crazy effects, ignoring the actual content on display. Good riding though, some of the lines were great.
craigjames
Riding was good, loved the gap to front on the rails and the line up to the bus stop. The editing on the other hand led a lot to be desired.

Loads of wacky angles and crazy effects, ignoring the actual content on display. Good riding though, some of the lines were great. I'm with you on this one. There was just too much going on. Too much flashing and jumping from one shot to another. I think that style of editing would be great for an intro of some kind but not a whole video. I thought the riding was really good would have been nice to have seen it properly.
Simpson
Great riding - disliked the edit.

max-t
First time I've seen you ride and f**k me it was impressive. Phat Mike You haven't seen that then? Your style has definitely changed Mike I dunno if the frames different geo or if it's the white frame, but you don't look as stylish and poised as you did on the red 1.3.'Ivor Way' good riding going down as per usual Having said that I have to agree with Dan Clark on the edit. Didn't quite do it for me . Edited November 19, 2010 by max-t
planetary1
awesome riding, great lines, great filming, but that editing drove me crazy way too much movement, let's just watch the ride!
