ginger allen echo
i went from 160mm echo cranks to 175mm adamants and they felt quite weird at first. but you get used to it. they feel alot better because they are longer which means you get more leverage with them
Matt Vandart
I had 175mm on my lynx, they were excelent, better imo than 165.
Zoo!Man
I have some 175mm Trialtechs on my Zoo! at the moment, they are great for doing gaps in my opinion, but when I ride natty they look as if they were too long and as if they were going to crash with every rock/obstacle. I think 175mm on 20" it's too much, I'd prefer 165/170 maybe.
CalopS
I went from 158 montys to 165 rockmans and I wouldnt want to go any bigger!
Mark W
Ran 175s on my mod from about 2003 onwards. Wouldn't dream of running anything else! Extra length feels awesome for power moves. The clearance isn't really an issue - if you're pedalling over terrain so rough you could possibly hit your cranks, then on a mod you're probably going to be in a bit of trouble anyway. AdamR28
Had various cranks on various mods, right through from 158 Montys ro 175 Try-Alls. Currently got the Try-Alls on and wouldn't hesitate to put 175s on any subsequent bike!
