Thanks to those who voted me Anyway as the title suggests, this is my planned set up, but would it work? Im new to crank, freewheel, bashring set ups and have no idea :/ cheers I literally asked the same thing last week.measure the thread depth on the crank arm.i was using a 5mm uci ring and tensile 96 but thread was a bit shallow so had to get the ring machined down to 3mm as you need at least 7mm contact between fw and crank.search my content, would post link but doing this on my phone so cant, hope it helps.it was suggested trialtech rings would be ok as they are only 3mm! SamKidney
Thing is I ride TGS :/ And ive bent both Tensile UCI and Trialtech bashrings within 4 rides. Looks like new cranks then :/
