Dan6061
Just finished building up my Neon again. I broke most of it a few months ago, so it's been shown some love and now has a complete new spec! Possibly my nicest bike yet! I painted the frame myself, it's 'Rover Tara Green'. Spec: Neon Conquer Echo Lite forks. Tensile Cranks, 60click Freewheel. Trialtech bars, BB, and pedals. Monty PR Stem. DOB Magnesium rims, front one on Onza sealed hub, rear on Rockman BUB disc hub. 160mm Hope Mono Trial Tech's front and rear. Halfords foam grips. Weight: 9.06KG. - Exactly 20lbs! Hope you like it! mista-neos
Very nice that, How does it ride?
Dan6061
Cheers guys! I've only had a quick blast on it outside trying to bed the discs in. Seems really nice! Need to get used to silent brakes. It rides really well though, it still feels the same as before, but lighter.
mista-neos
I'm going dual disk soon so I need to get used to no noise whats the Geo on these and this is Tris frame isnt it?
Dan6061
I have no idea what the Geo is! And yeah, Tris' mate's old frame... I spotted it in the corner of Tris' garage one night and had to have it.
anzo
That is beautiful. How much did it cost you to build up?
Dan6061
I think I spent just over £600 on new parts!
Mark W
Worth it though! That bike looks sweet and bet it rides really nicely too. All round win

Dan6061
Dual disc was such a good choice! All I've done to help them bed in is chuck water on them, then ride about in all the mist. Not slipped once! Love it.

dirt jumper jake
Could you get them levers to feel solid? bled mine about 5 times and its still spongey
Dan6061
Feel alright to me, and i've literally just thrown them on! Need to play around with the tiny washers to get the callipers to sit right though. I think that's the key to getting nice lever feel. Thanks for all the comments! Dan6061
Bit of a loser update, but I got the bike weighed, and it's 9.06kg, which is exactly 20lbs! Pretty chuffed really, I'd have been happy at around 10kg. Can still shed some weight with new forks, but that won't be until these ones finally give up. Scoox
I like it a lot, your bike has surely been shown some luv, and every time I see a dual-disc set-up like yours I drool. Too bad here in China one can only get hold of Chinese parts easily, therefore I cannot run Hope discs on mine as spares would be a PITA to get hold of.
