Matt Vandart
I disagree with the tyre opinions.iv just got a kenda blue groove 2.5 john t sig,. And its SICK really thick sidewalls and really really grippy Where did you get that from dude?
Matt Burrows
Tarty! Haha i never even thought of checking tarty Didnt relise it was the small block 8's he was talking about. But i was getting at a natty type tyre really rather than a street tyre. The blind leading the blind, oh how this place amuses me. Damon clearly said Kenda Blue Groove (which Tarty don't list) and not the small block 8! About 20 seconds with Google and I found this, it's not rocket science

indianatrials
After reading this thread I went out and put my 2.4" holy roller on the rear. I was previously using a kenda nevegal which is supposed to be a very good tire, the only problem is its suuuper heavy at 1200 grams. After riding with the holy roller for about an hour i can say that as long as you run at least 18 psi there should be no problems whatsoever. Its very light, cool looking, grippy, and very bouncy. You just have to play with the pressure quite a bit to get it between squirmy and properly bouncy. IMO this solves the tire problem as holy rollers are readily available. Shows all i know. Yeah because at under 500grams the Small block 8 must have really thick sidewalls, clearly the tyre Damon was talking about

Matt Vandart
Anyone know anymore about the neon 24? Is it available? If so where?
Mark W
I was under the impression it's been available for a while? At least I seem to remember stuff appearing about it a while back. May be entirely fabricating that though... Price wise I'd guess it'd be similar to the 26" version as there's not really all that much different. Oh, and Echo are doing a 'trials' 24" frame now too. No photos yet, no prices yet, just a weight (1,610g incl. BB) and the fact it uses a Spanish BB.
Greetings
Surely those weights don't include the BB Mark. It'd make them one of the lightest trials frames ever.
Mark W
It'd make the 24 pretty much the same weight as the Tractor, but yeah, that's me being a spaz. Need more sleep tonight, methinks.

Mark W
If you mean the Echo one, then as far as I'm aware yes.
craigjames
If you mean the Echo one, then as far as I'm aware yes. Are you not going to stock the Neon then? Does anyone that is UK based or ships to the UK stock it?
