Mark who? Mark Westlake with the fourplay? I'm going to give a shorter higher set up a go tonight. 100mm 10deg stem and 2.5 bar. I dont think i'd go any shorter than that. Ross McArthur Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2010 Well I use the cams to tension the chain. The hole drilled in the cam for the hub axle is off centre. When I spin the cam round the chain tightens up. I sit the wheel in the dropouts, slide in the cams from the outside so the meet the hub then align the cam with the axle. The cam bottoms out inside the frame so it cant slide any further in. When I put my QR through the axle and tighten it up, the set up isnt going anywhere (sideyways). I then spin the cams round until the chain gets tight then tighten the bolts which hold in the cams. That clear enough? Have a read at this link for more info.
