EnnBee
Does anyone know where i can find some magnets that are usually found holding the pads to the piston on hope mono trial brakes. I bought one second hand and someone has removed them so the pads are constantly rubbing. Any help would be great. Cheers Neil Edited November 15, 2010 by EnnBee

If you have that already and they are still rubbing then it could be anything from; caliper not aligned, pads worn at angles, siezed pistons, worn caliper piston seals, fork disc mount not faced correctly, too much fluid in the the system or a sticky master piston seal. I highly doubt you will be able to buy just the magnets on their own though. Maybe a good opportunity to replace the pistons and seals, or just send it off to Hope and let them service it for you. Unless you want to try and bodge some magnets to fit and glue them into place then you will have to buy some new pistons.
