Dušan
I think its your fault that you dont know it i only know sidehop with my wrong foot facing the obstacle... i dont even remeber if i tried doing it wth right foot facing it... imho its good to know both ways.... smithy83
i started few months ago to learn opposite sides,i used to go with my forward foot forward and could get the height and distance sideways if there was a gap.but on my right side i feel better goin straight up and can get more height but feels realy weird going into a sidehop with bit of a gap inbetween.i just put it down to more practice and my body feeling more natural with my lead foot against the wall. but is definatly very handy to be able to do id both ways as it gets you out of more situations in comps and opens more up to you. Krisboats
Find a set of stairs and start practising. it'll teach you to go sideways and force you to lean over as you go higher.
pete trials
I used to sidehop the wrong way and i used to only be able to get 3 pallets but now that I sidehop the right way I can get 5. It's ok if you use your front wheel. I do it and it still looks smooth in fact it looks more smooth than when I land 2 wheels.
