Greetings
Read a few topics on here about the 2XU and the only proper feedback was from OBM. I'm inclined to give it a try since I can kind of imagine how this might change the overall feel of the body while riding. Apart from looking slightly gay unless wearing a long sleeve tee and trackies I have slight concerns about this garment. First of all, I can imagine getting used to it which will kind of suck when you're not wearing it? Secondly, how comfortable are they for people who don't shave their entire body? Would you end up feeling sore after a few hours of riding? And finally, do they keep you warm or not? I can't imagine wearing that outfit and trackies + a tee on top in the summer. Mark W
First of all, I can imagine getting used to it which will kind of suck when you're not wearing it? It's not such a noticeable boost when you're riding that it 'sucks when you're not wearing it'. Secondly, how comfortable are they for people who don't shave their entire body? Would you end up feeling sore after a few hours of riding? I don't know what you're implying, but I don't 'shave my entire body', and I didn't find it uncomfortable at all, nor did I get sore. I don't really see why you would... And finally, do they keep you warm or not? I can't imagine wearing that outfit and trackies + a tee on top in the summer. They do and they don't. I found it kept me warm, but if you don't move for a while then shift, the way it clings to you can make it feel colder for a couple of seconds. It's hard to explain... It's not a thermal base layer sorta thing, so it won't cook you in the summer if that's what you were getting at.
Greetings
I don't know what you're implying, but I don't 'shave my entire body', and I didn't find it uncomfortable at all, nor did I get sore. I don't really see why you would... I'm guessing that such an elasticated fabric will pull hairs on your body causing soreness after a while. At least that's what I get with long socks in the winter. Rather unpleasant. But if you say it's ok then it probably is. Thanks for the answers.
