Jon Alty
Just wondering what tyre pressures people use (urban and natural)? Running 15 PSI in each at the moment for urban. Discuss
Azarathal
40 in the front and about 18 or so in the rear. Bearing in mind im a light 10stone, when on the rear wheel it feels too solid, when I land on an edge too soft. Meh.
krazykid009
I run between 25 and 30 on both wheels for most stuff. James
Jon Alty
Hmm i see, havent actually tried any big drops/gaps with 15 PSI atm, but im only like 8 and a half stone or something, not heavy at all . May increase to 20 in the back and like 25-30 in the front.
Matt Vandart
I was riding a coouple of weeks back and it turned out I had FA pressure in my tyre, I wondered why it kept rimming on gaps..................... Was all good though, DK for the win.
forteh
I use 18psi in the rear rubber queen and 22psi in the front mountain king, IM a touch under 12 stone I would like less in the rear but the instability of the tyre is too great unfortunately
Kenny--Trials
I run 13 in the rear and around 20 in the front. This makes it an easy roller but also easy to rear wheel hop, but really its all down to personal preferance
Theta2
14 in the back (Maxxis High Roller 2.5" Dual Ply), 18 in the front (Panaracer Cinder 2.25")

But having just got my stock its alot diff so i was unsure
Ben John - Hynes
Lol. This thread made me laugh. "I run 13.45635 psi in the rear, any more and it's unbearable!". Pump the tyre up, ride it. Too hard- let some out. Too soft- put more in.
Dušan
iam about 72kg what should be about 12 stone and i have no idea what preassure i have i just test it by my hand how hard is it.... and i can feel if its good or not... but i have lower tyre preassure on front as i dont know up to front stuff and it also helps alot cause you dont get so much impact to your hands and you will get tired later
Sam T
Pump the tyre up, ride it. Too hard- let some out. Too soft- put more in. This. It's no good asking people about there PSI in the tyre as many people have different riding styles. Some smooth, where it would be alright to have your PSI lower, and some not so smooth which may require higher PSI to avoid pinch punctures. I dont check the pressure when pumping, but that is what works best for me with the rubber queen Unfortunately its a fine balance of too soft and squirmy and too hard so you lose preload and grip
Matt Vandart
I put a bit more in for rocks though.

Pump the tyre up, ride it. Too hard- let some out. Too soft- put more in. Thirded. The only way I'll know what pressure i'm running is to go and get a guage on it, but since it's half 1 in the morning and it's raining... I run them just hard enough that the sidewalls dont crease when I'm hopping. Gives it a nice bit of bounce for hops while offering adequate support and grip. Front: Maxxis Advantage 2.1 single ply. Rear: Maxxis Holly Roller Rear 2.4 dual ply slow reezaay.
