TrashZen
Just posted the first in a series of interviews I am carrying out as part of the BikeTrials Evolution project. Talking to Kenny Belaey just before the World cup in Antwerp, I wanted something a bit different than feedback on comp results, enjoy. Your feedback is welcome. Matt Vandart
# I would give 2 points to riders who dab from the ground to get onto an obstacle, but only 1 point for riders who try to ride it but touch with the bash/feet/pedal while trying. I won many times by placing some ‘security dabs’ but that is because it was allowed and the most intelligent solution then. This........... And this was a surprise to me: Edited November 2, 2010 by Matt Vandart

craigjames
This........... And this was a surprise to me: I think that statement makes a lot of sense to me, it puts more of the emphasis on going for it, risk; rather than strato dabbing your way through things. It may be safer, but surely the sport will progress if people take risks in competitions and go for things? Andrei Burton has one of those Giant frames in his garage, looks really nice too. Not ridden it though so can't comment on that, but he seemed to like it.
